That’s a rare combo. There was a square body Chevy with one of those beds for sale around here a little while ago. It was tempting.

It’s functionality at its most functionality-estest. I wish it’d come back.

I’m a fleetside man myself, but I can appreciate that :)

I have one of those! A step side long bed that is. 1950 Ford F3
It’s a lot more common on these earlier trucks though, some of the ones you posted must be fairly rare.

Is that really a long bed? Sorry, I’m not that familiar with early pickups. Does it run?
But yeah, from what I gather it’s pretty rare on the late model ones. I’m thinking 80s C10s and its ilk as the last for that category.

Yep, 8' bed, just hard to tell from the picture. It does not run, I got it apart and really want to work on it, just don’t have the space at the moment. I’m also selling the 460/C6 I had for it so I’ll be without a motor/trans for a while. Looking to find a EFI 5.8 with a stick once I get around to working on it. Either that or rebuilt my $5 flathead...
For easier reference, long bed,
Short bed
